YEADON, PA - August 26, 2025 – Philly’s Best Steak Company, a trusted name in authentic Philadelphia steak meat, today announced the appointment of Steven Folenius to Senior Vice President of Sales. Folenius joins the organization with over three decades of experience in the sales, retail and foodservice industries.

“Over the last 30 years, our organization has successfully developed a mature distribution network with a presence in nearly all 50 states,” says Zafeiris Akranis, President of Philly’s Best Steak Co. “To build upon this growth, we look forward to Steven’s leadership in nurturing and expanding our national sales strategy, supporting our partners, and helping us to realize our goal of making the cheesesteak as ubiquitous as the cheeseburger.”  

Prior to joining Philly’s Best, Folenius led a diverse career in brand marketing and sales, where he helped foster the growth of some of the most recognizable names in foodservice and retail. This includes prominent leadership positions at CTI Foods, AdvancePierre, and JTM Foods Group, where he supported top brand customers such as Cracker Barrel, CKE Restaurants, Burger King, Wawa, and Walmart.
